It seems like this time of year I do less painting and mixed media work. I spend more time outdoors biking, golfing and other fun outdoor activities. Less time in the studio making paintings and mixed media artworks. To fill the creative void and to keep my skills sharp I resort to digital or ipad art.
There are several advantages to this type of art. Clean, fast and easy to remove mistakes.

I like to start with a simple drawing and increase complexity as I move forward. Here are 3 examples of an abstract geometric series that I have recently created. Note the images in different phases of development.
