I was able to spent some time last weekend at the Cincinnati Art Museum.
The museum stands as a prominent institution showcasing a diverse collection of modern and contemporary art. I really enjoyed the pieces from some of my favorite movements including Abstract Expressionism, Pop Art and Minimalism.
They have a great community arts program .The museum engages with the community by offering several education programs and workshops that encourage dialogue and appreciation of modern and contemporary art.
Embracing diversity is the strongest part of the Cincinnati Art Museum. They have several engaging exhibits featuring wonderful local black artists from current times back to 18th century art. The museum also has an outstanding collection of native American art.
Definitely a Museum worth checking out if you ever get down to the Cincinnati area. It would make a great pit stop on the way to Florida.
