I love bright and colorful images as much as anyone. Most of my artwork consists of highly saturated collages and geometric patterns . I enjoy making this type of work and it is what I hang my hat on,
Black and white or monochromatic work has a different sense of beauty and charm. These type of images have to stand out on their own and not use saturated colors to draw the viewer in. Look at the contrast between the black and white shades. The white ink sitting on top of the textured collaged pieces and how they fit together to form a cohesive artwork.
From a design perspective, black and white art lends itself well to any decor situation. The compositions contain the neutral colors of silver, black and white. There is no competition between your home or office color scheme and the abstract artwork.
